Karen believes that touch is the first form of healing, it starts with good intentions from the heart and extends to the hands .

Growing up in a house with a Gramdmother that practiced alternative medicine where rubbing oils on the body and the constant aroma of incense  and sage was in the air ,massage became a natural part of karen's life.

 Karen is married with children and grandchildren, she is a member of Living Word Ministries and works in the preschool ministry.Also volunteers for the special olympics ,has  worked for Aids Project New Haven and YPACT which provides massage for children at Yale New Haven Hospital.

She also enjoys reading, yoga and collects art.
